Family, Community, Worship, and Study

Kehilat Sar Shalom is a family-centered Messianic Congregations dedicated to teaching and living out the Jewish Roots of our faith in Messiah Yeshua. It is our goal to provide a place of fellowship and an atmosphere of spiritual growth for believers of every ethnicity. We strive to identify with our Jewish heritage through the celebration of the Word of God, its Feasts and instructions.

It is our desire to create a place which fosters family and community while encouraging worship and study.

Family

Kehilat Sar Shalom is family congregation, encouraging and embracing young families. At Kehilat Sar Shalom, a cry-room, feeding room for mothers with infants, over-flow, nursery and children's classes are all available to families during services. A weekly, shared meal after Saturday service contributes to the family atmosphere. Both congregations share a strong emphasis on the children's classes, making it fun for kids to learn the deep truths of God's word. All of these elements combine to make Prince of Peace and House of Yeshua into peaceful houses for families.

Community

Kehilat Sar Shalom is a place to belong. The community at Kehilat Sar Shalom is as diverse as the Body of Messiah, yet we are all one in him. Whether you are just curious about your Jewish Roots, just beginning to pursue a Biblical path or already fully engaged in a your Hebraic Heritage, Kehilat Sar Shalom is a place to find fellowship and acceptance. Our congregation was created for believers of all ethnicities to gather and celebrate our common Biblical heritage together.

Worship

Our worship services combine the traditional liturgy and Torah service of the Synagogue with a contemporary, evangelical song service to make a unique hybrid of worship in spirit and in truth. Traditional Jewish folk dance and contemporary worship dance are incorporated to create a lively and interactive worship experience. At Kehilat Sar Shalom in Saint Paul, Shabbat Worship services are Fridays at 8:00 PM and Saturdays at 11 AM.

Study

Our highest priority at Kehilat Sar Shalom is the teaching and studying of God's Word. In addition to the Shabbat sermons and commentaries, we directly and indirectly sponsor several ongoing large and small group Bible Studies in the congregations, in congregants homes and in other churches. Discipleship classes are offered twice a year. Hebrew classes are available through the congregation. Children's classes are available on Shabbat mornings during the service. Members of the community are encouraged to study, to learn and to develop their own teaching skills. At Kehilat Sar Shalom, we study to learn and we learn to do.

Whether you are just visiting or looking for a congregational home, you are welcome at Sar Shalom. And may the true Prince of Peace, Yeshua, richly bless you and all that is yours.
